Adam is a graduate of the Occupational Therapy program at Utica College of Syracuse University in New York and started his career in hand rehabilitation in the Puget Sound area in 1996. He has over 14 years experience in the treatment and prevention of hand and upper extremity physical dysfunction as well as a great interest and knowledge of ergonomics. Adam has received a certified ergonomic assessment specialist (CEAS) credential as well and stresses the importance of environmental and positional factors on the body's ability to heal. He also identifies risk factors associated with repetitive strain type injuries such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome and/or tendonitis in order to reduce the chance of re-injury, once discharged from therapy.

Adam focuses heavily on patient education, postural awareness and the importance of activity modification in order to return to full functional ability following injury to the hand or upper extremity. He also provides custom splint fabrication for athletic, arthritic, postural or the upper extremity injury or dysfunction.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys boating, hiking, fishing, playing piano and guitar and spending time with his family.
