Melinda grew up near Fargo, ND. She attended Mayville State
University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education
with a minor in coaching. She taught fourth grade and coached varsity
volleyball and girls’ basketball for four years at Central Valley
Public School in Buxton, North Dakota. She later attended the
University of North Dakota and received her Doctor of Physical
Therapy. Melinda has a special interest in working with athletes,
especially in preventative care, but appreciates her career as a
physical therapist due to the variety of patients and conditions she
is able to treat. She is concentrating on advancing her training in
Pilates, strength and conditioning, and manual therapy skills.
