Ken Williams has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since getting his AAS from Green River Community College in 1996. Ken has worked in inpatient, rehab and outpatient physical therapy, but enjoys outpatient the most. He has extensive experience with spine and shoulder pathology and has a strong belief that manual therapy, when combined with effective exercise is the best way to facilitate recovery and avoid re-injury. Also important is bringing the patient on board with the physical therapy plan of care and goals. Ken has focused experience in Strain and Counterstrain, Mechanical Spine Assessment and Treatment (aka McKenzie Method), and Amputee Rehabilitation. What Ken enjoys the most about being a PT Assistant is helping people get re-integrated back into movement and exercise after injury, being friendly and having fun, and encouraging patients at every hurdle!

Ken received a BS in Finance from Auburn University in Alabama in 1991, before changing careers. He enjoys keeping up with Auburn's football program in the fall, and NCAA basketball in the spring. As for hobbies and activities, he likes most of all to do anything with his wife and two daughters, camping, hiking, volunteer acting, skiing, and a good (bad, rather) round of golf on occasion. He is also active in his church operating the sound board monthly and teaching Sunday School classes.
