Shilpa Patel, DPT is our Clinic Director at Pinnacle Medical Wellness in Covington.
Shilpa graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, with her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and a minor in Spanish for the Health Profession in 2005. She continued on at Marquette to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007. Quickly after graduating, she moved to the Pacific Northwest and has provided both inpatient and outpatient care on the eastside for three and a half years. Over the years, Shilpa has found her passion to be in orthopedics where she loves treating patients from young children to the elderly population. Shilpa has enjoyed working with young athletes for both prevention of athletic injuries, as well as, post-surgically and post-injury in order to prevent re-injury. She believes in taking time to thoroughly evaluate patients while using current manual therapy techniques and providing education to her patients. She is excited to be a part of the Pinnacle team since she strongly believes in the holistic approach to medicine where individuals can be proactive by incorporating exercise into their lifestyles while being able to seek out the latest technology and therapeutic treatments based on evidence in practice, all in one place! In her free time, Shilpa spends time with her growing family, likes
to travel, and enjoys outdoor activities including gardening, hiking and bicycling.
